5 Words: Week 1

 So it's Week 1 of my new series of words, in case you didn't read that post, here's a little explanation.  I decided to start posting 5 words weekly and to post the definition because it's always interesting to learn new words or find out the real meaning of a word, because in this day and age we tend to make  up our own meanings for words. So here we go....

Dilettante- 
      1.) A person who claims an area of interest, such as the arts, without real commitment or knowledge.
      2.) A person with an amateur interest in the arts.
Raconteur-
      A person who is skilled in relating stories and anecdotes interestingly.
 Pudeur-
      A sense of shame, especially in sexual matters; modesty.
Palladium-
     1.) A safeguard.
     2.) A rare, silvery-white metal.
Sybarite-
     A person devoted to luxury and pleasure.
